Diana Arellano (DE/ES) is a researcher and software developer at the Research and Development department at the Institute of Animation, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Her research topics are mainly focused on affective facial animation and its creative use in fields other than entertainment. In addition to this, she supports the Technical Director students on their research projects. Diana Arellano has also collaborated in the organization and as scientific committee member of international conferences (e.g. FMX, AMDO, ICAART, Interacción, SIGGRAPH as a student volunteer). She is currently Co-Chair of the ACM SIGGRAPH International Resources Committee (IRC).
