Lisa Gierlinger (AT) is known as Lisa Mona, a freelance filmmaker of animated shorts, and a passionate artist & illustrator. With a flair for narration and emotion, the artist creates unique artwork with strong expressions and lively stories.

While her interest to become an artist stemmed from a young age, her fascination for the captivating world of animation began to flourish by working as a mulit-media designer for various companies.

Seeking to further expand her expertise, Lisa decided to pursue her studies at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, specializing in multimedia film art. Her passion for animated film became the driving force behind her work, particularly in concept art and character development through design and animation.

One of Lisa’s notable achievements was her role as creative director in a team of four students who produced the 3D animated short film “Fish for Life”. This project also served as her master’s thesis and gained international recognition as it was screened at various animated film festivals around the world.

With her extensive training, diverse skills and a passion that knows no bounds, Lisa Gierlinger continues to push the boundaries of her creativity. As a freelance artist, Lisa strives to create captivating visuals and bring stories to life through her unique perspective and expertise in 2D and 3D animation.

Alessa Wolfram (AT) is a talented 3D generalist based in Vienna, who holds both a bachelor’s degree in “Media Technology and Design” and a master’s degree in “Digital Arts” from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Her passion for photography and film has shaped the focus of her work, which centers on storytelling and composition. She has a particular interest in exploring comedic elements arising from characters’ desperate attempts to solve their problems, often using clichés in her projects.

While her initial interest was in film and photography, her academic journey led her to shift her focus to 3D design. Apart from storytelling, Alessa’s work revolves around character and asset design, as well as camera and lighting setup for 3D animations. Notably, she played a significant role as the creative lead in a team of five students to create the 3D animated short film titled “Shroomsday.” This project served as her master’s thesis and gained international recognition, being showcased at various film and animation festivals.

Moreover, “Shroomsday” has achieved another milestone as it will be adapted for screening in ScreenX, a 270° cinema at the Hollywood Megaplex in Linz, Austria. This achievement demonstrates Alessa’s talent and dedication to her craft, making her a promising figure in the field of 3D animation and design.

Victoria Wolfersberger (AT) is a freelance filmmaker and digital artist based in Upper Austria. Her skillsets are producing, sound design and motion graphics with focus on audiovisual synergies to create immersive experiences.

She is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Campus Hagenberg and part of the board of the ANIMA PLUS association.

Victoria graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and has a bachelor’s degree in “Media Technology and Design” and a master’s degree in “Digital Arts”. Together with three other students she created the 3d animated short “Fish for Life” (2019) which was screened worldwide on different film and animation festivals and won four awards.
